Under Vehicle View and Comparison
The Under Vehicle Monitoring Unit is activated when the input loop circuit is triggered by the vehicle. After the vehicle's loop transition, the license plate is read by the License Plate Recognition System (PTS). While the vehicle, whose license plate is read, passes over the underground imaging system, a line scan camera takes an under-vehicle image. When the vehicle in motion passes the output loop triggering circuit, the system automatically switches to the bypass position until the next vehicle.
All systems operating while this vehicle is in motion are monitored by a PC program. The program displays, backs up and reports license plate recognition, comparison, under-vehicle viewing, detail viewing and comparison with the previous image on user-friendly screens.
If desired, arm barrier, mushroom barrier or road blocker can be operated synchronously together with the Under Vehicle Monitoring Unit.
